Cowboys True Colors not shining through

The Dallas Cowboys are currently in last place in the NFC East, with a 35-14 drubbing at the hands of the N.Y. Giants. Dallas, who looks lost on offense without Tony Romo on the field, continued to get poor play from Brad Johnson and now 3rd string backup Brooks Bollinger. The two combined for 14-27 for 134 yards with 1 touchdown, and 2 picks. Dallas drops to 5-4 on the NFL Football season with the loss. The Giants are now 7-1 and stand alone in first place, and have now won 2 straight against Dallas. New York set the tone right off the bat with a 75-yard -11-play drive, capped off with a touchdown pass to Kevin Boss to make it 7-0. Manning had 3 touchdowns on the day and finished 16-27 for 147 yards.

With the score 14-0, Dallas tried to stay with the Giants. Mike Jenkins picked off Eli Manning and scored making it 14-7. New York came right back with Eli Manning connecting with Amani Toomer on an 11-yard pass, right before the half to put New York back up 21-7. Dallas showed little life in the second half on offense, and the Giants could smell victory. Derrick Ward put Dallas away for good with 8:20 left in the game. He broke through on a 17-yard run for a Giant touchdown to make the score 35-14. The injuries, and other issues are starting to catch up with Dallas. They must be fixed immediately for the Cowboys!!!
