Dallas leads the way with Romo,T.O.
The Dallas Cowboys defeated the San Francisco 49ers 35-22 at Texas Stadium, in a very pivotal must-win game for Dallas. Tony Romo and Terrell Owens lead the way which inspired the Dallas defense. Romo finished the game 23-39 with 341 yards and 3 touchdowns. Owens had a breakout game that Cowboy fans have been waiting for all season long. He finished the game with 7 catches for 213 yards and 1 touchdown. It was close to his record setting day he had for his former team San Francisco. He had a game for them in 2000, where he had an NFL Record 20 catches for 283 yards. Owens said, “They unleashed me today”.
After the 49ers went up 6-0, Romo connected with Owens on a career best 75-yard touchdown pass to make the score 7-6 Cowboys. Dallas would never trail again. The difference-Dallas`s offensive line actually gave Romo time to throw. This dominate line that has been anything but of late. This line also held 49er star back Frank Gore to 26 yards on 14 carries. Dallas now remains tied with Washington in second place at 7-4. They must now rest and be prepared for a short week with a game on Thanksgiving Thursday.
