Romo returns to practice, ready to play
Tony Romo returned to practice Wednesday, sporting a tiny splint, shelling the aggravating cast he has had on since his injury in an overtime loss to Arizona on October 12th. For Dallas it couldn`t come soon enough. After starting the season off 3-0, Dallas now sits in last place in the NFC East division. Romo can`t put Dallas in the playoffs alone, he has to have so help from his offensive line, so he will have time to put a points on the board, for a struggling Cowboy offense. In Romo`s absence, Dallas has managed to put no more than 14 points up on the board in any one game. That`s compared to Romo`s minimum 24 points a game when he was the starter.
Romo has the 3rd best quarterback rating and the 3rd most passing yards per game in NFL Football this year. Wade Philips who took over the play calling recently, must strive to do a better job than he did in the Cowboys blowout loss to the New York Giants. I think getting Romo back will definitely help, but Dallas must come full circle right away to make a push to the playoffs.
