Roy E. Williams–Mr. Invisible…
Since coming to the Dallas Cowboys on October 14th for future draft picks, wide receiver Roy E. Williams has caught just 3 passes for 38 yards and 1 touchdown. In 5 games for the Detroit Lions he caught 17 for 232 yards. So what`s the deal? Is it Brad Johnson? Could it be because Tony Romo has yet to even attempt to throw to him yet, because he himself hasn`t played?
Whatever it is has the former Lion/Pro-Bowler frustrated. Williams told the press this week that “It`s frustrating for me because I`m on the sidelines. You can`t do nothing on the sidelines.” Williams is used to being the number one guy on his team in receiving, but his chances have been few and far between, in his brief Cowboy career. I would think that with star Tony Romo returning from injury, that Williams will get his chance to shine.
