Terrell Owens “Big Day”
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens had a monster game against his former team Sunday. In a 35-22 win against the 49ers, Owens had 7 catches for 213 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. You either love Owens or you hate him. He has always been known around the NFL as having an opinion for everything. However, the guy can flat out play and is an elite receiver in the NFL today.
Sunday was not his best day ever as an NFL receiver. In 2000, he had a game in which he caught 20 passes for 283 yards, an NFL record today. Few receivers have come close, but never broke it. With Tony Romo as his sidekick, Owens could break even more records before he is done. More importantly, Owens and Dallas are in second place at 7-4 with 5 games left this NFL year. Owens may be mouthy, but he plays and makes plays when Dallas needs it most.
