Lets Talk Cowboys

If you had to choose between two Dallas legends, who would you pick as your running back? Would it be Dorsett or Smith? Let`s take a deeper look at these two hall of famers.

• Tony Dorsett. He was born on 4-7-54, in Rochester, P.A. Nicknamed hawk by his father, for his ability to see things others coudn`t. It sure showed on the NFL Football field, as he was one of the most elusive backs in the history of the game. Trying to tackle him is like trying to catch a hot dog wrapper in the wind. He finished his career with 12,739 yards on 2,936 attempts with 77 touchdowns. Dallas got a steal for him through a draft trade with the Seattle Seahawks, which is one of the most dumbest trades in NFL Football. Seattle got 4 draft picks for him, while he had a 11-year hall of fame career in Dallas. The four draft picks were out of NFL Football by the mid-80`s. If you want an elusive back with speed to burn take Dorsett!!!

• Emmitt Smith. Born 5-15-69, in Pensacola. F.L. He played 15 NFL seasons-13 with Dallas before finishing his career with Arizona. Smith`s stats are numbing. 4409 rushing attempts for 18,355 yards with 164 career touchdowns.  In 1994 he had 21 touchdowns, and topped it in 1995 with 25 touchdowns and 1,773 yards-yes in one season!! He had 11-1000 yard rushing seasons in his career. He had a gear, once he broke through a defensive line, that few could ever match. If you tried to catch him in the open field your chances would be better of winning the lottery, so go buy a ticket. So my question is Emmitt or Tony?
