Coming off of a destroying home loss to the upstart Baltimore Ravens, the Dallas Cowboys now realize that their first playoff game starts this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. They know if they lose it`s simple, there will be no postseason for them.  So this game is literally a win or go home for the season game. They know what has to be done and to make matters worse, the Eagles need this win as bad as the Cowboys do.

Should they fall to the Eagles, then this crazy 2008 season would come to an abrupt end, one that would be much earlier than any Cowboy fan expected to.  “It’s almost like a second chance,” said Coach Wade Phillips. For the last few weeks, it has pretty much been this way for Dallas. Just a couple of weeks ago, the Cowboys controlled their own playoff destiny, needing to win the last 3 games. With other teams losing in and out of their division, the door has been open for them. But they just can`t step up and put away the opposing team when it counts most.

They have no choice now but to win. They must have great play from Tony Romo and either Marion Barber(healthy), and have another great defensive performance. This time the defense must hold for all four quarters, not just three. DeMarcus Ware must have help with the rush defense,  like he did against the Ravens. They know that the road to the playoffs begins Sunday in a hostile Philadelphia environment.
